We are an Enhanced Vehicle Safety Inspection Station!!
Have you....


-been in an accident and your vehicle was totaled by your insurance company? You have the option to buy your vehicle back and repair it.
It will need an enhanced inspection before being able to drive it!
-purchased a vehicle with a certificate of salvage from any state?
You will need an enhanced inspection before getting a Pennsylvania title and registration!
-purchased a vehicle out of state that has a reconstructed title?
You will need an enhanced inspection before getting a Pennsylvania title and registration!
-purchased and assembled a vehicle or trailer from a kit?
You will need an enhanced inspection before registering it!
-want to modify the current title?
You might need an enhanced inspection to be able to do that!
What to Expect
You will need to provide documentation to prove ownership, purchase price, repairs completed, etc.
This documentation includes, but it not limited to:
-title or certificate of salvage
-bill of sale or insurance buy back letter
-receipts for parts/repairs
-photo ID of the owner, front and back
-weight slip for trucks & trailers
-insurance/registration (for insurance buy backs, it can be transferred if it is still a valid registration)
Your Appointment:
Once the vehicle is repaired, if applicable, and you have your salvage certificate, call and schedule your enhanced appointment. We can go over required documentation during this time.
Drop the vehicle off with required documentation for your scheduled appointment.
The enhanced inspector will review the documentation to verify ownership and make sure we have all we need.
The inspector will then inspect the vehicle to ensure safety and that it is in original operating order. If any panels or doors needed replaced, they must be painted to match the rest of the vehicle.
If the vehicle is safe & in original operating condition and all required documentation is present, he will prepare the packet.
Your completed packet will include:
-completed MV426B
-certificate of salvage or title
-all required documentation
-photos per PennDot regulations
Take your packet to a Pennsylvania Notary or PennDot for processing.
Other Important Information & Links
You do not get a PA safety and/or emissions sticker from this inspection.
We can perform the second step and issue stickers after you receive your registration.
